About Me

I'm based out of NYC and currently work as a senior analyst, in product, at American Express.

My undergrad degree is in finance and as such, all of the computer science and a good portion of the math applied is self taught. A goal is to go back to school part time and take formal classes in computer science, while working.

When I first started writing the python scripts for the portfolio optimization app, I had no idea a public web application would be the terminal point. Initially started as a personal project designed to gain a better handle on python & basic probability & statistics, I figured why not go all in and build out a full web application!

I find the logical depth and possible applications of computer science to be extremely interesting. I hope to spend more time on projects relating to algorithms and other math/science topics where computation can come into play.
